Folklór – kultúrne dedičstvo

Hits: 5652

Napr. vo Východnej, Myjave, Detve (Wikipedia.sk). Z ľudovej hudby čerpajú inšpiráciu aj hudobní skladatelia vážnej hudby. V minulosti napr. Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Antonín Dvořák, Franz Liszt, Béla Bartók. Globálny vplyv pôvodne ľudovej hudby v 20. storočí mala hudba černošských komunít v USA. Šlo o piesňovú formu so špecifickou pentatonickou modalitou, charakteristickými dvanásťtaktovými akordickými postupmi a systémom otázka – odpoveď v zborovom speve.

Folklór comes from the English term folk lore,” which translates to folk knowledge. It encompasses verbal, musical, dramatic, and dance traditions. Folkloric expressions began to fade with the advent of modern technology. The ability to write and read text led to less space for folk creation (Wikipedia.cz). The study of folklore falls under the domain of folkloristics. Different regions and communities take pride in their traditional costumes, songs, customs, and dances. Presentations of folk traditions from various regions often take place at folklore festivals, such as those in Východná, Myjava, and Detva (Wikipedia.sk).

Individual composers of classical music draw inspiration from folk music. In the past, figures like Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Antonín Dvořák, Franz Liszt, and Béla Bartók were influenced by folk music. In the 20th century, the global impact of originally folk music was evident in the music of African American communities in the USA. This form, characterized by a specific pentatonic modality, distinctive twelve-bar chord progressions, and call-and-response patterns in choral singing, was termed blues” in the 19th century. Later on, there was a well-known cross-influence between rock and folk music (Wikipedia.cz).

In the Czech Republic, the relatively well-known musical group blending popular music with elements of folk music includes Čechomor and Fleret. In Slovakia, there are prominent folk artistic ensembles like SĽUK (Slovak Folk Art Ensemble) and Lúčnica. Folklore festivals, such as Folklore Festivals under Poľana, the Detva International Festival of Folk Music, Dance, and Song, Podroháč Folklore Festivals in Zuberec, Martinské Dožinky, and Východná, contribute to the rich tradition (skovaksite.com).

A notable Moravian folk group is Hradišťan, led by the impressive Jiří (Jura) Pavlica, who also explores other genres. For me, it is a true medium that the world does not have enough of. Especially after 2000, thankfully, priorities have started to shift, and traditional crafts have experienced a revival, at least at various fairs, festivals, and other cultural and social events. In Nitra, the Festival of Folk Crafts takes place annually. In Bratislava, Kežmarok, and Piešťany, a tradition of festivals celebrating traditional crafts has been established, and hopefully, in other cities as well. I feel that traditional architecture is beginning to be valued more again, especially in open-air museums like Podbiel, Pribylina, and Martin.

Stretnutia akvaristov

Hits: 7361

The history of meetings began to be written in the summer of 2001 on the then www.akvarium.sk. They took place at the Prešporáček Palace in Bratislava. On June 11, 2003, one of the forum members on akva.sk – azet initiated the idea of discussing face-to-face, not just on the forum via the Internet. Since then, a lot of water has flowed in the Danube, and Bratislava has become the venue for many meetings. By January 1, 2008, there were probably already around 200 of them. I participated in most of them. After a while, I started keeping records to have a rough idea of how many people attend these meetings. A total of maybe two hundred aquarists and other breeders, spouses, etc., attended them, mainly from Bratislava but also from the surrounding areas, and several times even from Nitra. It’s excellent that new people kept coming, both young and experienced aquarists. I hope we managed to reach many people, as evidenced by the diverse composition of breeders and aquarists at the meetings. We met mainly at Smichovska Perla on Špitálska, at Raketa near Draždiak, and towards the end of my time, at Prešporáček Palace.

Meetings are still happening today, currently at U Očka.” Importantly, we didn’t only engage Bratislava; we don’t only meet there but also in Košice, where meetings have been taking place for almost as long as in Bratislava. Besides, these activities are growing in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Nitra, Levice, Poprad, Žilina, Dubnica nad Váhom, Trenčín, and Banská Bystrica.

Klub.akva.sk

I was a member of an aquarium club called KLUB.AKVA.SK for some time. Later, I disagreed with the practices in the club and decided not to continue fighting against them. However, I still maintain contact with many aquarists from that time.

Priebeh prednášky máme zaznamenaný prostredníctvom kamery a ja som zachytával dej fotoaparátom, aby som vám priblížil atmosféru, ktorá v DK Ružinov 6.9.2006 vládla.

Lecture by Norbert Dokoupil

On September 6, 2006, the CLUB.AKVA.SK organized an aquarium lecture at the Ružinov Cultural Center by Norbert Dokoupil titled Not Only About Livebearers.” Approximately 50 – 60 people attended the event. Mr. Dokoupil discussed the coloring of fish and the pigments that fish possess. Following the lecture, there was a discussion where questions were raised, such as why fish are not green. About five questions were posed to Mr. Dokoupil, including one from Miro Rusko. Even outside the official program, lively discussions took place, and many of us took the opportunity to exchange thoughts with our colleagues. After the lecture, the inaugural meeting was held, during which the club committee and audit commission were elected. The elected committee members were Branislav Barčin, Norman Durný, Markéta Rejlková, Vladimír Volf, Martin Haláč, Peter Kaclík, and Ivan Vyslúžil. The audit commission consisted of Milo Pešek and Ľubomír Holubčík. The course of the lecture was recorded via camera, and I captured the events with a camera to provide you with a glimpse of the atmosphere at the Ružinov Cultural Center on September 62006.

Muzikanti, hudobníci

Hits: 5871

Muzikanti a hudobníci zohrávajú nezastupiteľnú úlohu v kultúre a spoločnosti. Muzikanti prispievajú k bohatej rozmanitosti hudobných žánrov a kultúrnych tradícií. Ich rôznorodé štýly a vplyvy z rôznych častí sveta pridávajú hudbe šírku a farebnosť.

Hudobné vzdelávanie poskytuje študentom príležitosť rozvíjať svoj hudobný talent a porozumieť komplexnosti hudby. Hudba má terapeutický potenciál, a preto muzikanti často pracujú v oblasti hudobnej terapie, pomáhajúc ľuďom zvládať stres, bolesť a iné emocionálne výzvy.

Musicians and performers play an irreplaceable role in culture and society. Their passion and talent for music add sound and melody to our everyday lives. Music is a universal language, and musicians are its translators. Their ability to express emotions and feelings through music allows people to experience various emotional states and connect with deep sentiments. Musicians contribute to the rich diversity of musical genres and cultural traditions. Their diverse styles and influences from different parts of the world add breadth and vibrancy to music. Musicians play a key role on concert stages and in clubs, providing social entertainment and allowing communities to come together through musical events and festivals.

Composition and interpretation of music are forms of artistic expression. Musicians are creators who produce works that can endure and influence generations. They often teach and inspire others, passing on their knowledge and passion to future generations. Music education provides students with the opportunity to develop their musical talent and understand the complexity of music. Music has therapeutic potential, and musicians often work in the field of music therapy, helping people cope with stress, pain, and other emotional challenges. For many musicians, music is not just a profession but a way of life. Performing, recording, composing, and other aspects of the music industry shape their daily lives. Musicians are not only creators of sound but also catalysts for cultural change and connectors of people through the universal language of music.

Tenis

Hits: 1990
